Director of Development, Dia Art Foundation

Dia Art Foundation seeks a full-time director of development to oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of fundraising including corporate, foundation, government, and individual giving. Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years fundraising experience, demonstrated skills in donor research and cultivation, and a proven track record in managing and building a successful development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and executing capital campaigns, will possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and will work well as a team member in an internationally respected organization. A passion for contemporary art and a familiarity with Dia’s history and programs is important. Salary is commensurate with experience and abilities. Part-time Kitchen Attendant, Dia:Beacon
Beacon, NY
The café attendant back of the house position duties includes working closely with the café assistant and café manager to maintain the café menu. Responsibilities also include monitoring the general cleanliness of the dining room, i.e. some bussing; maintaining general cleanliness of the kitchen, wiping down shelves, coolers, and tables, assist with prep for service as well as dishes . The Café is part of the Visitors services Department whose function as the public face of the institution is to serve the public efficiently, while protecting the interests and property of Dia Art Foundation.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Café Operations
- assist in prepping for café menu
- maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen and café area
- help maintain inventory in the kitchen.
- work effectively and professionally with fellow café attendants to maintain a friendly atmosphere in the café
Part time, 3 – 5 days/week. Must be available to work weekend day shifts.
